I'm Eric — a chef, a dad, and the person who spent way too long thinking about what makes a family vacation actually work.
John Brannon House started as a simple idea: build the place I always wanted to take my own family. A house with real space, a kitchen worth cooking in, and enough built-in adventure that the kids disappear for hours and come back muddy and happy.
The kitchen is personal — I equipped it myself, the way a chef equips a kitchen. The adventures are intentional — the fossil dig, the monster hunt, the scavenger hunt are all designed so parents can actually exhale. The art on the walls is family history — my grandfather's paintings, my father's black and white landscapes.
This isn't a rental I manage from a distance. Every decision in that house was made on purpose.
I'm here if you need anything, and mostly I want you to use the place. Cook big meals, let the kids roam, stay out too late around the fire. That's what it's there for.
